Hello friend and reader, today before I leave to the the most beautiful place in Akwa Ibom State (Uyo), I'll like to share with you what have learnt about examination and ow to prepare for it.
You might be wondering why or whether am the right  person to teach you how to prepare for an examination. If that's your thought right now, I think its high time you clear it off because we've got a train to catch...

So how do you prepare for an examination? Below is the steps carefully stated to help you prepare for your exams.

Start Preparation as Early as Possible:

Preparation for exams should begin earlier than the day before the test. Infact preparation starts the day lecture starts. You can’t cram an entire unit of information into an all-nighter. Get started at least two weeks before the examination.

Study Syllabus to know the Scope of the Subjects:

The candidate should study the syllabus and understand the scope of each subject. The candidate should also
study the books suggested for each subject thoroughly. Study should be supplemented with reference books also. Brief notes should be prepared to help in refreshing the memory just before the examination.

Proper Organization:

Get started by making a calendar outlining a daily schedule of topics for review. Cover a small amount of material for each class each day. Each time you complete a topic, give yourself a review.

 Outline your work:

After you've decided what you need to study and how much time to spend studying, it's time to actually study. One of the best ways is to make succinct outlines, write a brief summary for each topic. Highlight pages in your outline that were most troublesome. After completing all sections of the material, you will have an outline you can review.

Get help when necessary:

If you are having trouble memorizing a particular concept, get help before it’s too late. Ask your tutor to go over a glitch you might be having.

Sleep comfortably:

You need at least seven hours of sleep a night to function properly. Exams are conducted to make you rack your brain and think as well. If you are sleep-deprived, you won’t be able to remember any of the information you worked so hard to cram into your brain.

Be Calm:

Don't panic! Even if at first glance the exams is overwhelming, remember to breathe. If a question seems too hard, ensure to answer all the questions you know, then return to the ones you don't.

Remind yourself that you are prepared, don’t rush the exams:

You've spent at least two weeks studying, so what’s another couple of minutes? Work through the exam slowly and read all questions before answering them. If you are done before the time is up, look over your answers.

Relax After each Examination:

Don’t let panic overwhelm you.
Even if you think you bombed the exam, worrying will not change your score. It may, however, affect your mindset for the next exams. Forget about the last exams and stay focused on the next one. A professional is expected to assist his/her clients in adversity or in difficult situations. The candidate appearing at the professional examination should possess confidence to face even a 'DIFFICULT' examination. Hence, never panic or be nervous. Calmness helps in adverse circumstances to tide over the problem boldly.
